Me and a friend bought a cell phone family plan together so we could talk person to person for free with our plan. The original plan was To split the monthly payments but this never happened, I always was put in the position to pay. Id cancel the plan but I cant afford to pay to shut off 2 phones right now which would be around 500 with this months bill so im still paying monthly. The problem was The plan is under my name but we used her address so she received all the bills and paperwork. Am I out of luck? Does the fact that she used one of the phones and received the bills allow me to recoup my losses which are at least several hundred dollars which was her share I ended up paying. She was on the phone with me when we bought the plan but it was put under my name, I dont believe they allow them under 2 seperate names for a family plan. Her attitude is basically screw you. The phones ended up costing me a fortune.
