Trapped in elevator and missed flight

If I missed my flight due to broken airport facility, trapped in the elevator, can I get reimbursement for related costs and loss from the airport or elevator company?

Depending upon laws of the different countries, the liability is different but generally the Airport Authority can be sued for deficiency of service provided to you as proper elevator was not provided to you. As a result you have suffered because of the negligence of Airport Authority and you can claim compensation. Further, you may file a suit also against the company responsible for maintaining the elevator.
