I have taken out a Payday Loan with a company. This company requires you to write a check to secure the funds you are borrowing. I originally did not have the funds available on the week that they required payment, but I did have direct deposit and told them to deposit the check and the bank would clear it and my check would then cover it at the end of the week. I have told my representative at the company to do this for almost two weeks now. Today this representative shows up at my place of employment demanding payment. I feel like this is harassment equal to mob strong arming. Am I correct? Do they have all the right to come up to my workplace and demand this from me? Please let me know. You may simply tell them to leave and they must do so--and tell them not to return.
