I recently found out that the Rossville post office is still sending my mail to an addrees at which I have never lived, even after numerous attempts to get it straightened out. This time however I am subject to an $85.00 fine beccause I never received letters that were sent to me from the D.O.T. concerning my tag. Do I have any chance of making the Post Office pay these fines or am I just up the creek? Also how can I make them stop sending my mail somewhere else. Is there any legal implications for them to send the mail, adressed correctly to an address different than what is on the letters? I am extremely distress from this because I haven't worked since last December and can't afford this.

Ask to meet with the head postmaster. Normally they are quite good at resolving these issues.
