Bounced Check
I was recently arrested as my ex landlord had a warrant out for my arrest. The last check I had given her had bounced and she was unable to contact me.
The police came to an address they had for me but I was not there, so as soon as my friend told me I went straight to the police station to pay my bond and go through the process of arrest etc. I have a court date for Friday, I have met with my ex landlord and settled the amount of the bounced check, she is happy. What will the process be now at court? and also, what are the chances of having this arrest removed from my record. I have never been arrested before and I am not using a lawyer. Thanks in advance. |

You can explain it was an accident and has been resolved. The court will often just dismiss it.
