Small Claims NYC Multiple Defendants Totals

I just received my Notice of Judgment. I won the case, and was suing 3 defendants. The form indicates $1,000.00 total judgement; I asked for $3,000.00, which was the total cost of the damage I incurred.

My question is: is this the Total Judgement per defendant, or the total judgement combined?

The form does not indicate any percentages or totals per defendant. The clerks's office could not give me an answer, they could not tell themselves. Phone numbers on the back of the form are disconnected, so there is no one I can turn for help.

Normally that means they are jointly and severally liable for 1000.

You can collect 1000 from any one of them or a total of 1000 in any combination.

If you think it is supposed to be 3000, write a letter to the judge or ask the clerk of the judge to check for you.
