Default failure to provide adequate services

we had a cleaning service, no contract signed..clean our house..they charged $200 for 8 man hours of work...they broke a curtain..broke the cable lead into my satellite dvr..the house was not clean..when i came home they were gone..i called to complain immediately..after playing phone tag i finallly reached the owner and told her my compaints..it was a heated exchange..we finallly agreed she would accept $100..hours later she called back..said for me to sue her that she will only accept $200...my question is what is the best way to go about holding her to her verbal committment without it affecting my credit...do i have to sue her..and if so how do i go about it..thank you
