Default How do I proceed

I provide trophy (bear) and $500 deposit to taxidermist. Taxidermist is prosecuted by the state for failure to keep records. State seizes ALL hides, pelts, etc., including mine.

I file in small claims, but taxidermist does not have trophy any longer.

Now what?

How do I get trophy back, or determine value?
