Default Unpaid for subcontractor work

I am not sure if I am posting under the correct category, but here is the situation. We were a subcontractor on a project. Right now we are owed around $13,000 for our work on this project. The owners of the project are 40 days from going into forclosure. We placed a lien on the project back in August of last year and have lust placed an additional lien on the project. My question is this: is there anything else that we can do to help insure that we will get paid? We are in California. Thank You.
