Summoned for no payment-poss. settlement
I am going to court on 7/30/08 in response to a summons I received or a > loan that I could not repay b/c of financial situation. I am currently > working with a debt mgmt company to SETTLE my debts and this was one of > them. At this time I can only afford to pay about $40/month but the debt > is for $4850. What questions do I need to be sure to ask when I am in > court. I want to pay the debt but I am afraid the amt I can pay now is not > good enough and they may deny it. Should I offer an amount first or let > them offer the amt first? PLEASE HELP!!
