i work at a gameing store and we had purchased a xbox360 cleaned it and re-sold it, (now when we purchase an item we get d.L# and name and they sighn at bottom), later on after we sold it the customer that baught it from us tried to pawn it and it was flagged as stolen the police took it and the customer wants us to compensate him for the product, the police closed the case due to me when i baught the system dident get a d.L on accedent i did get the name and signiture but thats not good enough for a case the detective said.
can the customer that was pawning the system sue me for compensation since the police took it?
