Ok, well i have a minor problem thats getting to be a bit serious. Its a bit of a long story so ill try to shorten it as much as i can. Anyway me and my family own an apartment in which we lived for about a year. During this time the lady who lived on the floor below us always complained about noise even though we werent even making any, she even complained when we werent at home. Later we moved out and gave the apartment to my grandparents, who are obviously very old, i mean my grandpa is usually outside and my grandma sits around and watches T.V. The Lady downstairs however, complained of noise again, and again and again, she even called the police. Its pretty obvious my grandparents don't cause much noise. Now heres the problem: we just rented out the apartment to a different family because my grandparents got their own place, and the crazy downstairs lady is going wild, once again she is complaining, calling the cops, and even took pictures of the family when they had friends over. This is obviously very disturbing to the family and they want to move out, which is obviously bad for us. My question is: is there anyway to prevent the lady from doing this? Her noise claims have no basis and taking pictures is just very odd. Is there any way we could get rid of her or at least get some kind of legal notice basicly telling her to shut up .... In nicer terms of course.

You may ask the police to speak with her. Or if need be you may seek a restraining order that will forbid any contact with you.
She would then have to deal only with the police if a real issue arose. |
