Unhappy Suing eBay Inc.

Hello friends,

I need some legal advise from you guys. I was wondering if I could sue eBay.com for discrimination. What happened is that, they have messed up my eBay profile, which took me almost 3 years to build. I had a 100% feedback from a total of 171 feedback ratings. Now all the sudden, my feedback ratings changed from 100% to 98.4%. This could of only happened if I had received any negative feedback. Buy I have never received any negative feedback. And also for the proof you can see that there are no negative feedbacks on my profile. So somehow my feedback percentage was calculated wrong. This could not happened without any human interference. So someone had to modify my profile, which caused it to change from 100% to 98.4%.

Now that was the problem, and I have been calling them since last month, so they could fix it. But nothing happened so far, it is still 98.4%. I have call then at least over 15 times but they did nothing to fix it. And also some of them hung-up on me saying that they could not understand me and I am not speaking English. Now that pissed me off, I can speak English just like any other American born people. I have lived and went to school here in USA for more than 10 years. I think they just do not like my accent and do not talk to me since that can tell by my voice that I am an Asian. I am from India but, what does this have to do with anything ? why would some of them would lie and not talk to me ? Also people who did talk to me very nicely never fix my profile. I think if I had an American accent my problem would of been fixed long time ago.

So the bottom line is that I am a US citizen , and I would like to know if I could sue eBay Inc. and win the case. I can not hire any lawyer, bec. I do not have any money extra money. Please guys let me know what I can do about this, I would really appreciate any amount of advise that you guys can give me.

THANKS !!!!!
Ravi

Default Re: Suing eBay Inc.

I doubt this is discrimination--there are many people of all races at eBay--but based on what you say here, you could file suit against them (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney...you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered due to their behavior...
