Default A dog is not a dog????

We bought a puppy from a pet store. I know never buy a puppy from a pet sore. I know that now. Anyway. We were supposed to get his papers 1 week after we got him and its been 2 months and we still dont have them. We ended up selling the dog and the new owner also took him to her vet. Come to find out we thought we were sold a Pomeranian. Thats what his card said thats what the owner said it was. It si not, it is a Papillion which I have never ehard of. I caleld the pet store and told the owner he sold me a dog that isnt what I paid for. He told me he is not giving me my money back and I should have taken him to the vet. I almost lost it. I tild him I did take him to the vet. Your papers I singed said take him to the vet to check his health not to check and make sure he is the breed of dog that you sold me. So I want my money back. He ended up hanging up on me. I have written to the better bsuiness bureau and I also sent him a letter expressing to him the need for him to make this right. If he pays me the $900.00 I spent on the dog and the $175.00 I soent on the vet we have no reason to go to court. if we got to court I will ask for that, court costs and wages lost from work. He is liable to pay me back since what he sold me was not what I wanted. He also said I didnt guarantee he would look like a pomeranian. No you guaranteed he was a pomeranian.

You paid $900 for a dog, and then sold it 2 months later?
Wow. I hope the people who bought it from you will care more about it.
We have a sweet black and white tuxedo cat that my kids brought home as a stray kitten. He's the best pet we ever had.

You can sue for the lost value if any in what was sold to you but you cannot get any other costs--and cannot get lost wages etc.

I would suggest you just sue him in small claims. It is very easy to do!!

Quick and easy!!!
