Default Statute of limitation on filing a claim in small claims for non-payment of services

Is there a statute of limitation on filing a claim in small claims for non- payment of services ?

The defendant did not pay for services preformed on his personal house. He paid through his corp. to pay past services on personal property. I also billed to his corp in the past which, is out of business. If i show the court he personally owns these properties will it prove he pierced the corp vale?
