Default workers comp and pregnant??

I posted this question before but did not include the info in the title so I'll try again & reword it here...

Has anyone been on workers comp. and gotten pregnant?

Do they change your wages at all durring the pregnancy?

Do they bring up any concerns about the pregnancy?

Has anyone had back surgery and gotten pregnant?

Thanks for your time!

it did not change the comp in our case.

First - Thanks for replying...

When I had my son (Obviously prior to my injury)... I had a difficult pregnancy and was pulled out of work early. I am concerned that they (Ins. Co.) can "use this" as an excuse to not pay me my wages. Even if the pregnancy would go well - you are considered totally disabled right after birth anyway. So can they stop paying you when you would be considered "disabled" for another reason?

It really sucks that I have to consider these things when I am considering having another child! This is such a big decision and I shouldn't have to be worried about the Insurance company! I just feel like they are "looking over my shoulder". Because they can literally do that too! I have had to undergo four spinal surgeries as a result of my accident. I'm not out there putting a roof on my house! I just want to live my life the best I can (which is also in pain EVERY DAY!) - you know.

Sorry about the rant. I get so worked up thinking about how screwed up the workers comp. system is.

Thanks again...

You may want to consult a WC lawyer and have them review your claims briefly. Many of them will just charge if they feel they can get you more benefits and actually do.

It seems you may have a few medical records issues that may be worth reviewing.
