Default workers comp question (I'm new)

I am disabled because of a work related injury and subsequently on workers compensation. I have had several surgeries and will remain disabled as a result of the accident. I am interested in becoming pregnant in the next year or more (my physicians say it is possible). I want to know how pregnancy effects workers comp benefits? Has anyone been through this?

What do you mean actually?

You still get them if that is what you mean?

I wasn't sure how your wages were effected... Say - after the birth, when you would be considered "totally disabled" under any other circumstances. I would think that the insurance company would want to argue that they wouldn't pay you because it's not "comp. related". I know they will do anything they can to not pay a dime!

Obviously, the pregnancy related medical would not be covered. Does it effect any comp. related medical?

It's sad that I can't just live my life and plan my future without having to stress over what the workers comp insurance company will do. They control my life now! My health and my finances!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my questions. I appreciate anyone's input!

Take care.

Has anyone been on workers comp. and gotten pregnant?

Do they change your wages at all durring the pregnancy?

Do they bring up any concerns about the pregnancy?

Has anyone had back surgery and gotten pregnant?
