Default postal games

cI was injured at work, I went to their Dr.. and was sent back to work. I went to my dr. whom gave me a week off. when I came back the bosses laughed and said I hadn't used the proper method for taking off work. i was given a letter of warning for attendance which included these 5 days. when looking for records it turns out the bosses had never turned it in. any recourse.
