obese disability ?

My neighbor keeps asking me how come i don't file for disability and i told him is because my mom makes to much money.

Here is my question, ih the state of North Carolina does it matter if my mom makes to much money even though i live with her, and what is the LEGAL obesity limit for me to be able to file for disabilty. Lets say i can't drive because my legs won't fit under the steering wheel of a car unless its a 2 door vehicle, which i use to have, but don't anymore, so we just have a 4 door car now. We also have a van which i can fit behind, but even with the steering wheel all the way up and the seat pushed all the way back, i can barely move around my legs because of the limit driver side space my legs only have one place to go and thats under the steering wheel, which makes it somewhat difficult to turn, because within maybe the next few years, i probably won't even be able to get them under the steering wheel.. I can't get my mom to drive me since she works all the time, besides there are not that many jobs available around here. Could this mean that i could file for disability.

By the way, the reason i asked about the "if my mom makes to much money" is because my dad wasn't able to get out of bed because of his back surgery and he became over weight because of it. When my dad filed for disability, they told him that my mom made to much money. Also the reason why i can get into a 2 door car and not a 4 door, is because the seat is further back than 4 door cars and therefore i have room to move my feet so that i can press the pedals, and even then my legs come with maybe an inch or 2 from the steering wheel. Also to let you know, obesity runs in my dad's side of the family. My dad, aunt, and one of my uncles all had it.

Right now i can't get medical help if i need it, since i am not longer on my mom's insurance, and i can't get it myself since i can't get a job. As for the closest available job, i would have to walk for one hour or more just to get there, and by the time i get there, an hour later my feet are sore from walking around so much.
