Confused Can my boss take money out of my paycheck without notice?

I wish to inform you that money cannot be deducted by employer without informing employee. CHAPTER 61 - TEXAS LABOR CODE provides that an employer cannot arbitrarily deduct amount from the wages. In this an employer may deduct only under specific mentioned circumstances. An employer may deduct wages only if he has authorization from employee or court has ordered or some law allows deduction.

I deliver groceries and had a cash customer.we are suppose to get money orders before we send it to accounting. Well after 15 hours of working my mind wasn't right, and I was exhausted. I put the cash in an envelope, sealed it, stapled it like 40 times and sent it. They are claiming I stole 500$ out of it. Now they are saying they are taking the money out of my check. What are my rights?

That's kind of hard. I mean both of you cannot prove anything unless both of you have witnesses I guess. Unbiased witnesses for that matter.

Thanks for the information, many times when employees receive a full pay check waiting for our surprise we get when we see the amount paid and sometimes not even receive an explanation for this.
