Offered salary not being recognized
Hi all,
I'm currently not receiving the written salary that was stated on my job letter. Basically, management says that they miscalculated my written salary and offered me a lower salary (-8%), which supposedly was the amount I should have been offered. They said that my grade level was correct, but written salary was wrong. I was told that I will be unable to earn the original salary. Don't know what to do. |

They can reduce your salary if they want to. The only possible problem I can foresee is if they didn't tell you ahead of time thereby making it a retroactive reduction in earnings, which is illegal.
