Confused workers comp light-duty pay taxable?

In Nevada, will my workers comp light-duty paycheck have federal tax witheld? Thank you.

This is what i saw before:

If payments are reimbursements for medical treatment and or travel expenses for medical treatment then the answer is no. However, if the workers comp payments are for lost wages or a lump sum settlement for permanent injury then yes, you will need to report these payments to IRS and they are to be included in taxable income for the year they are paid,

But check with your accountant or tax person.

Yes they would still be taxable. The only reason why they would not have federal income tax withheld would be if the gross amount was below your exemption limit, in which case you would only have Social Security and any other applicable taxes withheld.
