I have worked 16 yrs. for my employer in the same position but there is and never has been a written job description for me, even though my supervisor was told by her superior 2 yrs. ago to create one. I am in New York Sate. Can I legally receive one before I retire? My position title is Assistant Librarian.

It is not required by law but as a courtesy it would certainly seem they will do so.
Or write your own and have them approve it--saves them time and gives you just what you want. |
