Unhappy Mrs

What is the SA law regarding salary compensation for promotions and increased responsibility? I was unofficially made Area Manager in November 2005 and officially 3 months ago, but as yet have not had a salary increase, although they have now upped my car allowance. The company states that they cannot give us increases as the company in SA has lost some business, but I will be rated on the new increased area and carry the responsibility of the entire area. What are my rights and what does the SA law saY?
