Overpaid?
California
I was just informed that I have been overpd by my employer for the past 6 mos. I did not notice this as I do not open my direct deposit envelops. I am exempt, was hired as a sales rep, but have not been able to perform these duties due to my workload doing "other" tasks required by employer. I am salaried and "on-call" for my "other" tasks. I have only been paid twice on commissions as again, I do not have time to do my sales calls. What are the repercussions of being overpaid? Because I was hired as a sales rep and have not been allowed the time to perform these duties, is my sales contract valid? - do i have a leg to stand on? |
