Witholding my check
I quit my job due to a hostile environment that was affecting my health on 8/8/2008. I got paid every Thursday yet I still have not received my last check. I have inquired about it several times only to get no response. I was denied Unemployment as well. What can I do?

They are required to pay your last check. If they are giving you the run around, tell them you are going to contact the Department of Labor. As far as the Unemployment Compensation, you most likely out of luck because you quit. If you appeal you will have to make your case as to what made the work enviroment unbearable.
