I was hired as a Mechanic at #### Collision Albuquerque NM late December 2006.
The General Manager agreed to my asking salary of $50,000.00 anual, he declined to give it to me in writing. Though on my first paycheck I could see a shortage, I brought it to his attention and he refused to discuss the matter. My 90 day review as described in the employee handbook was also declined. After some months I had the chance to talk to the owner about this matter and he said he would review at the beginning of the year. Several months later I brought it up to him again and he blew me off. A couple months later I am now fired with no reason and denied unemployment benefits as I find a new job. So now I'm out of a job and $6000.00 lost wages that were agreed to. Do I have any case at all? Thank you for your time. |
