Confused Profit Sharing Information (FL)

I left My Former Employer in October 2007 (Florida). I had woked with the same company for over 6 years. When I resigned I asked that My Profit Sharing Information be sent to my Home. But I never got a response. I have since Written other Letters to the company about wanting this information. Now I am being told by that I am not entiled to it even though I have one statement saying I was 80% vested in 2005. What can I do ?

You could consult your nearest Department of Labor office to briefly discuss the issue with them first...you may also want to ask the company to put what is happening in writing and explain to them that you may have attorneys review the situation...try speaking to a higher level of management about the issue; they may override the other managers. If none of these efforts resolves the issue, let us know.

I married two years ago. Both of us have children from a previous marriage. My children are the only ones living with us. Before we married my husband made sure he purchased the home we presently live in and put one of his daughters as benificiary on the paper work. I have lived in this home since my husband signed all paperwork to purchase the home. My question here is if my husband dies will his daughter get the house and everything else we have in this home?

Update 8/11/08
I did Contact the DOL and they have not replied to my question about my profit sharing. I still have not recieved any information on my profit sharing. I did cal lthe Mgn Assistant again and was told by office staff that he had quit the day I spoke to him because the office mgn was verbally abuseive to him that day. Since then I still have Written and called the Office with No Reply back . I Did speak to a few ex-coworkers and have been told they are also getting the "run around " about their profit sharing statements and they have beeen told that the company made a mistake on all the W2's they issued to use . I Don't know what to do !
