Default Deed help... Ex-wife filed for divorce paperwork from Australia.

I currently live in Florida and have been living at the property in question. My ex-wife abandoned me on or around April 2003. Since that time she has moved to Australia and filed for divorce paperwork from Australia. Once I received the divorce papers I proceeded to have a quit claim deed done on the house. In return I would sign the divorce paperwork. A year or less went by when I received an approved divorce certificate from the Australian Magistrate. Again, I never signed the divorce papers but she never returned the quit claim deed. On the divorce paperwork that I got back from the Australian Magistrate did not settle any property issues. I can only imagine that they do not have any jurisdiction to property in the US. I do not have any way of communicating with her to settle our property issue. Since then I have maintained the house and made all of the payments to the house by myself. Just the other day, February 1st 2008, I went to local real estate attorney to get the deed to the house in my name only. I ended up paying a $150.00 consultation fee with no solution to my problem. He suggested that I hire an International law attorney to help me out. Personally I do not know of any that handle property issues nor do I think that this needs to involve that type of attorney. I also need to mention that fact that she is not a citizen of the US. Help any effort in helping me resolve this issue would gladly be appreciated……thanks
