I live in Long Beach, CA and am fighting for my home. Due to fraudulent and misleading behavior on the part of both the lender and the trustee, I was not able to redeem the property prior to the foreclosure sale date.
There is obviously much more to this case. However, my immediate goal is getting back into the house that I have been locked out of and with no place to go really. I am currently staying with a friend in Los Angeles as I have yet to find a way to have the locks removed from my house. Are they permitted to do this? I thought that there was some kind of notice process that must be followed or some kind of procedure other than locks on the doors? Furthermore, I would like to find out if others are experiencing these same or similar problems with these lenders. Thanks Tim |

If you can afford to do so have counsel briefly review all correspondence and make a time line etc.; they may have not followed the law but unfortunately it is very easy to foreclose in CA and once you fall behind in payments they can act quickly.
