HOW FAR CAN U PUT UP A FENCE FROM PROPERTY LINE ON LINE 2 FOOT WHAT

I wish to inform you that it is your local zoning ordinance which provides rules regarding the fact where the fence has to be situated. Generally, the fence has to be placed at one foot inside your property line. Property line describes the boundary of a given piece of land. In certain areas, a permit is also required to put up the fence.

In some --in fact many-- jurisdictions you can put the fence right up to the last inch on your property line.

Of course you had better be correct where that is, for if a survey shows you have crossed the line, your neighbor could require you to move it back.
