Inherited land Question

Hello, I have a very important question about land inheritance. I have a piece of property that was given to me and my siblings. Lately, we have been receiving court letters about the land, there are 2 plaintiffs, and we the siblings are all listed as Defendants. One of my siblings called the lawyer that was listed with the Plaintiffs, and he said that we should "do nothing" and the land would go default and we would receive a percentage of money based on how much land we inherited. But as I was going over one of the Motion for Judgment by Default letters, it seems as if the Plaintiffs would just like to take the land for themselves, as I do not see anything about us (siblings) receiving money for our portion of land. I have the paper work that I received and I would be happy to fax it over to receive another professional opinion. Any Assistance would be greatly appreciated.
