Hello there,
I recently went up in my attic in my duplex and noticed there was ZERO insulation up there! It is about 86-90 degrees during the day (our thermostat caps out at 86 and it's usually past that) and I don't want to think about how cold it will be this winter. Let alone how high the heating bill will be. Does anyone know if there are any codes/rights/laws that state the landlord must have insulation up there? Thanks so much, LJ |

Call your city building dept or code enforcement and ask. There are no national level requirements to my knowledge.
