New Mexico - Grandparents lent my mother money for her home
My grandparents lent my mother over 15000 for her home a year ago only 12000 was signed and notarized. According to the notarized document she was to pay back either when she sold the house or when Her lawsuit against and escavating company finished. What can they do? Do they need a lawyer? They have called a couple of times and as soon as the money is mentioned she hangs up. They are financially struggling. Please help!

Based on what you say here, you could file suit against them (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court for part payment, or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney...you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered due to their behavior...
