Foreclosed home
I had a home that was foreclosed and auctioned off. I was told that in AZ I could not be held responsible for any amount of the loan that was left. I had an 80/20 loan. A company is now calling me saying they took possession of the 2nd loan and are informing me that I need to pay it off. Am I or am I not resposible for the loan and if not where can I tell the company to reference so they leave me alone.

If it (the second) was not paid off in the first forceclosure you can still be liable for it.
...but I would suggest you have a lawyer look at your actual documents and check the status before you make any final decisions. |
