Default Property Rights

Ex-husband who remains on title wishes to move into coverted garage. Ex-Husband has not lived in residence for last four years. Ex-wife is getting married within month and wants to prevent Ex from utilizing said garage. Any legal standing on behalf of ex wife to prevent this?
