Default Electric Company

Does anyone know if an Electric Company can take your land to run new power lines to a substation? There offering a lifetime lease. A one time payment. They said if we do not execpt the offer they will take us to court and we will get a small amount.

Default Re: Electric Company

You will not necessarily get a small amount. They need to pay market value for use and for any decrease in value that the lines may cause.
