Default Holly HaTCH

Greetings

My husband and I bought a piece of property in Big Timber Mt. We bought it to fix up and sell. Our city commissioners are labeling us Developers and are making us go into the city street with a bonded construction co. dig up the street and hook up to the sewer line. All other home owners they bring the sewer to the property line. They brought the water pipe to our property line and our refusing to bring the sewer line to our property line.

I don't know if this is the correct question to ask but what is the legal definition of Developer??

Thank you

Holly Hatch

The city may have a rule as to number of projects etc.

Ask the city for the rules that deem you a developer.

If they cannot convince you, they may be wrong.
