My mortgage company each month takes an additional sum of money to cover taxes and insurance. Of course they over estimate the amount and on the anniversary of the mortgage closing each year they are supposed to send a "refund check". This financial institution still has not sent me my refund check of $1300.00 that was due to me March 25th. I call AND email and they do not return my calls however if I "catch" someone on the phone they tell me they are working on it. Is there anything I can do? I REALLY could use that money to help pay my mortgage!!

Based on what you say here, you could file suit against them (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney...you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered due to their behavior... You may also report them to your state attorney general's office. World law attorneys could also become directly involved. Email them if need be...
