Disclosure of house falling down before I purchase it
My home is a middle unit of a townhome set. Apparently it 'fell' during construction. There was a news paper article, police report, OSHA involvement, and fire police involvement. An engineering firm was hired to inspect the building consisting of 7 townhomes and evidently found them to be structurally safe. We were never informed about this collapse and in fact were told that the intended buyer's financing fell through and that is why it was still on the market. My question is 'what recourse do I have to get out of this 'house'? We do not want to live here knowing this fact and would not have bought a home with this condition. Any help, thank you.
