Our family has been "feuding" with our neighbors for years over a piece of land. There is no basis to the neighbors' claim, and we have documented evidence proving this. The property plat is registered at the county office.
Now there's talk of this getting dragged to federal court, since a national park borders both properties. We just want this issue to go away. Is there any way to file our property plat in a federal court (just for archive purposes) just to scare the neighbors off with the fact that the court has seen our paperwork? We wouldn't be suing anybody, we'd just want to present our paperwork for the court's records, in case this issue gets dragged to that level. We just want to PREVENT some kind of frivolous lawsuit against us. |
