Confused Lifetime lease

My mother-in -law deeded two pieces of property to my husband ( her only living child) with a lifetime lease for herself. If something happens to my husband, does the property revert back to her? My husband has a will that leaves everything to me, or our four named daughters if I am already gone. I don't want any problems!

Default Re: Lifetime lease

They could have drafted that either way so you need to check the terms closely.

But normally it would pass to you subject to her life estate.
