I have not paid dues since I purchased my home. Nor was informed that I was part of an association. Now, I have been sent a late notice for past dues. Is this legal?

Deed says that the property owners shall have the privilege of using the waters of the lakes for boating, fishing, and bathing. Does not say anything about an association or dues.

...then somehow you would have had to agree or you need not pay.
Ask them how and where you agreed. |
