Need help! Cheated out of 400 bucks

I purchased 6 plates from a seller in New York, I overnighted the money order to him and was told that he would do the same for me. It has been a month now and still no plates. He will sent an e-mail 2 weeks ago stating that he would send them and apologized for the error, but I have not heard from him since. I found the guy on Myspace and sent him a message, he replied and promised to ship, but never did.

I have read on here that I should file a Police report,, but I live in NC and he lives in NY,, does that matter? I would like to have a lawyer send him a letter or something... Please help! Thanks

File where you live and they will forward it.

WLD can also track them down, prosecute and collect though they do charge a basic fee for that. WLD has 280 lawyers in the group covering all U.S. states and 26 countries.

How do I go about hiring the law firm to pursue this person?
