Transaction from ebay.de.

Hello!I would like your help about a problem.On 23 September i won an auction for an item on ebay.de.(i live in Greece)I sent the money on 1st Octomber via bank transfer and on 3rd Octomber ebay sent me a message that the auction was cancelled,because a third person had accessed the seller's account and proposed me to not send any money.I contacted with the bank in order to return the money but it is not possible to return it.The problem is that the item does not exist.I contacted with the seller and he told that i had sent the money to an other iban,not to his.so,i lost my money.I think that ebay is responsible,because it informed me very late,after 10 days from the closing of the auction.I am thinking to sue ebay from damage.But First of all to go to the police.PS:I contacted with ebay.com where i am registered and they they told my that they don't have any responsibility for this and they cannot help me!What can i do ?Regards

Definitely file a police report--that is pure theft.

You could probably also get eBay involved if you really push the issue.
