Sold item online , delay due to shipping , buyer want to file a suit
Hi,
I have a online sale on ebay for an item less than usd 200, item shipped to overseas, tracking information provided to buyer. Give a statement to the buyer that, the item should arrive by end of the week or early next week. Shipping status is not real time update only have information stating that item is shipped to the buyer country and Post Office only able to check the status item after 14 working days. Now it is only 1 week since the item is shipped. Buyer complained that the delay is too long, i did not state clearly of the delivery date. Explained to buyer that delay causing by shipping is not within my control. Buyer just ignore the fact and keep insisting that it is seller responsible to delay due to shipping. Buyer want to file a suit? Kindly advise. Thanks |

As long as it is shipped reasonably soon no suit will be successful
