Unhappy Ebay suspended my account and I cannot pay for because of my suspension

Ebay suspended my account because they think my account is linked to another account that was suspended in December. Even though I have tried to explain to them that these accounts are in no way linked..I have tried to explain to them everything my account was suspended in December because of [xxxxx]...I gave them everything they asked for and they re-instated my account in December and now they have suspended me again because they think they have enough similarities to link us together again....everything I won at auction,,, I cannot pay for because of my suspension and everyone is filling non payment disputes against me...they have ruined my reputation on Ebay as a buyer...I can not fix this problem because what they have accused me of is not true!!!! They say when [xxxxx] gets re-instated then my accounts will be re-instated...I cannot fix [xxxxx]s problem because like I have said that is not my account and never has been ...I cannot fix what is not mine!!!!

There is a forum I found on the internet that is free, and helps with Ebay, PayPal, business and the law. Just post any question, the experts will answer it if it has not already been answered!

The forum has a lot of expert advice on it.
EBAY, PayPal, Business and Law Forums

MODEEWORLD
I found advice there about how to avoid EBAY suspensions, get past PayPal limitations, also lots of detailed help on creating your own business, getting past trademark violations, VERO and lots more. Plus general advice on how best to sell on EBAY, what sells the best, how to get the best price for your product, really everything related to EBAY and internet business.

Also advice about how EBAY really works and how PayPal really works. The inside scoop.

Beautiful forum. I was made a moderator of the forum and I love it!

That link is to a place that does offer help, but its main goal is to get you to buy a pdf file called Ebay Stealth. Its about how to get on Ebay under a new name.
We dont want to live a lie. Its wrong to do so.

I went to www.modeeworld.com/forums and it has nothing to do with "Ebay Stealth" which is a garbage book written by some guy named aspkin who got booted off EBAY two years ago and has not managed to get back on since.

The EBAY, PayPal, Business and Law Forum is a free forum does not try to sell any stupid ebook.

TO CREATE A NEW UNTRACEABLE EBAY + PAYPAL ACCOUNT

Follow these to avoid being traced back to an old EBAY account of yours:

1. New email address

2. New name

3. New address

4. New telephone number

5. New credit card

6. New bank account

7. Delete cookies

8. Delete flash objects

9. Change IP address

10. Pick PayPal or your own merchant account as your payment method to receive payments.

11. List items for sale - and awaaaaay you go.

Even being a PowerSeller does not immunize you.

Powersellers Suspended From eBay

According to eBay, most "Powersellers" get suspended from eBay, or have been suspended. Does this give you cause to think twice?

Who's To Blame?

If an eBay member is suspended, whose fault is it? Is it because the member is doing something wrong, or is it because eBay cocked up?

If it is due to the member's behaviour, what was the problem?

Reasons

There appear to be five main reasons why an eBay member should find his account suspended. These are:

1 Selling Counterfeit, Fraudulent, Stolen or Mis-Described Goods

Judging by the number of eBay items with obviously misleading descriptions or titles, this is one of the less serious reasons as far as eBay are concerned, and eBay will only suspend a seller if enough other members complain.

2 Failing to pay eBay fees on time.

This seems to rate highly, as if eBay selling fees are not paid on time, then the account is suspended, and no further selling activity can take place.

3 Repeated Copyright Violations

Using other people's copyright images, text, and sometimes copying complete eBay listings will result in a ban, at least if you get reported enough times, possibly three or more. Of course, if nobody notices or complains, then you can get away with it indefinitely. The reason that eBay will suspend or terminate you account is that if they fail to do so, they themselves could be held responsible for permitting, or failing to stop, the violations, and they could be sued for large amounts of money. Courts may decide to award actual and punitive damages, and eBay would have little if any defence, and would almost certainly have to pay the other party's legal fees, which could run into hundreds of thousands of dollars or pounds.

4 Whistle Blowing

One of the quirkier eBay rules is that members may not contact each other to warn about other members suspected of fraud or selling counterfeit goods. Anybody caught doing so will have their account suspended or terminated. This strikes us as very unfair indeed, and we wonder if it is because eBay are making plenty of money from the crooks?

5 eBay's Incompetence or Negligence

eBay have been known to suspend members by mistake, and we believe it is quite common, They probably also do so out of fear. Because there are few if any checks when members first join or start to sell, and eBay suddenly notice that a member is selling large volumes or values of goods, they are likely to panic and suspend a member, then ask questions later.

Default Re: Ebay suspended my account and I cannot pay for because of my suspension

This happened to me recently - ebay unexpectedly suspended the sole account I'd had since 2002. I'd sold one item on that account and bought about eighty. Ebay told me that my account was linked to other accounts violating ebay rules. I asked what accounts, and how were they linked, but ebay would not let me know "for privacy reasons". Shortly afterwards I received e-mails from three people saying they had found my e-mail address on the Internet. They claimed I had sold them things but never sent the goods after they paid. I thought it was a scam so didn't reply, but soon I had a phone call from an angry woman saying the same thing. All this time ebay would not provide any more information, but I began to realise that someone had opened ebay accounts using my name and address. Just my name and address - they didn't need my bank details or anything, as clearly they didn't want me to get any money. The victims had sent money to a bank account in the name of B. Smith and someone with my surname. I went to the police and reported identity theft. The police are now trying to track down the fraudster. In the meantime one of the victims reported /me/ to the police as a fraudster, but fortunately I was able to give them my crime report file number and show that I had already reported it as a crime against me. The police got the information ebay considered too private to reveal, and have discovered that someone has used my name and address to open 9 accounts since 2005. I'm not at all happy with ebay, as you can guess.
The moral: watch out, someone may be using your name and address to con people. If you get any complaining letters or e-mails go to the police immediately so that you don't look like a crook.
