Question Is it legal to mention scammer's real name and address on the net?

Hi, I've been scammed by a seller on ebay and to post messages on the net want to warn other people about this seller. Is it legal for me to include seller's real name, address and bank details in my post ie. Is there anyway the seller can sue me for doing this? Thank you for your help.

It is legal as long as you are telling the truth.

Of course he can dispute it and try to sue you if you say something false.

Unlikely he would do so if he is in the wrong.

If it is an Indonesian scammer, do not worry about being legal or not (scammers are not legal and no one can fight them on a court in Indonesia).

Just be sure they scammed you and be sure you publish the real scammer name, and do it a zillion times to make him/her more difficult to operate on the future.

Also be careful, as you can destroy a good business name reputation if you are wrong. Again, no one will sue you for this in Indonesia, but it is not fair.
