Default How long does tenent have to move after house is sold?

I have rented an apt in a private house for 5 yrs now without a lease. the house is for sale and there is an offer. How long do I have until I have to move? Do I have to move out right after the closing? I am looking for an apt now for my family and there are not any available in our area. Can they kick us out?
Thanks
Jenn
