They are a total scam, as appear to be every online dealer in Medan. Avoid like the plague!

A toys RC shop (Indonesia) http://www.dwihobbies.com/ stole me 400$. After my bank payment i asked several times for an update and no more replies from them. A friend of mine tried to contact them for a new purchase and they of course they replied immediately.
So they are thieves. Really I hope that the little money stole goes all in medicines for them and their family. Quote:

I shouldn't say this but I also went through alibaba, had a look at some telescopes and found a supplier in indonesia called:
Sports Telescope (shop/store?) Telephone: 62-22-7304671Address: Jl Jend A Yani 138, Burangrang, LengkongZip:40262Country/Region:IndonesiaProvince/State:Propinsi Jawa BaratCity :BandungTheir website: Sports Telescope looks very professional, they accept paypal and claim to have been in business since 2006. Their prices are a bit lower than normal retail (about $300-$400 USD). I emailed them (Ms. Ratna Saputri and Mr. Muhamad Syaputra) via info@sporstelescope.com contact@sportstelescope.com www.sportstelescope.com> The latter informed me that shipping was included, which is a bit funny as I live in South Africa, he said : I spoke Boss and is no problem.." The lack of grammar is always a ehm... red flag for me, maybe that's not fair but ok, can't help it. Any of you guys have some thoughts about this? I also told him (after I googled his address) that our representative lives in the area and would gladly come over. Thus far I haven't heard anything. Let me know what you think.. And one more thing.. Some people on this forum say: "It's not a lot of money but.." But to me USD$1200 is a lot of money.. michael Durban |

Just go back to the Policy of the company and you will see the rules and regulations and all the violations that is written there and contact the support online system for complaints. They will assist you right after your complaint given. Just try it now.

Did some research and contacted a reputable telescope company in Indonesia who confirmed a lot of online optic and electronic stores are scams.
My store, (sportstelescope.com) from alibaba.com was very quick in replying.. Then I told them, fine...we will order the one telescope and pay via paypal. Then the reply was: sorry, but we don't do PayPal for one item (something which they were perfectly happy with yesterday after my first inquiry), something to do with the tax on the item, and if i were to buy only one item they would not make a profit.. Strange, alarm bells. Also the price is a big indication, as I stated before -erroneously- the price difference for my scope was around USD$400,- but after some more checking it turns out that this Indonesian online store is about USD$ 800,- cheaper, including 'free shipping' Anyone have any any idea how I can get these suckers back? Thanks, Michael |
